1. The Foreign Ministry will hold a cultural event in Muscat, Oman, on December 8 to mark the 40th anniversary of the Republic of Korea-Oman diplomatic relations.

2. The forthcoming cultural event is expected to enhance the friendship between the two countries. Furthermore, by introducing to Oman Korean culture, where tradition and modernity are in harmony, the event is expected to contribute to enhancing the ROK’s image as a charming Korea.

◦ The event will feature a non-verbal performance characterized by a combination of various arts and techniques of Taekwondo, -- traditional martial arts of Korea -- traditional dances, acrobatics and b-boying, showcasing a variety of charming aspects of Korea.

3. The Foreign Ministry will continue holding a variety of cultural events in commemoration of diplomatic anniversaries with other countries in order for the peoples of the ROK and those countries to share cultural sentiments and thereby broaden their mutual understanding.
