3. In Venezuela, with which the ROK marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year, the two performance groups will appear on a national broadcast on April 16 and introduce Korean culture through a short show and a live interview. On April 17, a workshop for teenagers in the country will take place to provide Venezuelan youth with an opportunity to learn traditional Korean culture and b-boying first hand.
4. The upcoming cultural events are expected to promote Korea’s image as a charming country and contribute to further enhancing the ROK’s friendly relations with Venezuela and Colombia by presenting Korean culture which combines tradition and modernity in a harmonious way to the Latin American people, who have less chance to see Korean cultural performing groups.
