1. With the domestic procedures completed in the Republic of Korea and Belgium for the entry into force of the bilateral “Agreement Concerning a Working Holiday Program,” which was concluded on April 14, 2014, as many as an annual 200 youngsters aged 18-30 of each country will be able to stay in the other country for up to one year traveling and working in limited fields.
2. The entry of the Agreement into force carries great significance in that youngsters of the two countries will be offered opportunities to experience the other country’s culture and lifestyle while working and traveling there. As a result, young people of the two countries are expected to engage in more exchanges and better understand each other, which will likely lead to closer friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
