1. A total of 93 students and faculty members of Sultan Qaboos University, the largest and the only royal-patroned university in Oman, will visit the Republic of Korea from late July to early August.

2. The Foreign Ministry will hold a briefing session for the Omni students and faculty members, who will also have an opportunity to learn about Korea and experience its culture by visiting various industrial facilities, universities, Gyeongbokgung Palace, museums, and the truce village of Panmunjeom as well as enjoying a Taekwondo demonstration and Nanta drum performance.

3. The visit is expected to help the Omani students better understand and take a keener interest in the ROK, thereby enhancing their understanding on Korean culture and in the long term, supporting Korean companies’ bids to build their presence in Oman.
