1. The government of the Republic of Korea has decided to contribute one million US dollars to the Libya stabilization fund in a move to take an active part in the efforts by Libya’s Government of National Accord and the international community to stabilize Libya.

2. In addition to its one-million-dollar contribution, the ROK government will serve as a board member of the Libya stabilization fund, playing a substantial role in the international efforts to support Libya’s reconstruction and render humanitarian assistance to the country.

3. The ROK government, as a responsible middle-power country of the international community, is implementing “humanitarian diplomacy” as its signature “brand” of diplomacy in active response to such humanitarian crises as conflicts and natural disasters. The donation from the ROK government is expected to help Libya achieve integration and stability at an early date.
